Interview with Georgina Stancer

TJ: Hello! Welcome to Author Spotlight where both new and veteran authors share a little about themselves and their work. Today we have Paranormal Romance author Georgina Stancer. Let’s get into it. Care to tell readers about yourself?

Georgina: Hi, I’m the author behind the Guarded by Night and Infernal Hearts series. I live in the UK with my partner and three of our children. I also live with four fur-babies. I’m originally from London, but I moved to the northwest over 18 years ago, which is where I met my partner.

TJ:  What inspired you to become a writer?

Georgina: I’ve always loved stories. As a child, I would often be found alone in my room either reading, or making up stories as I played with my toys. My mum used to say I had a wild imagination. I tried writing when I was young, and again in my twenties, but I couldn’t get past the first chapter or two.

It wasn’t until I was in my mid-thirties that I finally finished my first book, and it was all thanks to NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I met some amazing authors at the first kick-off party I went to, and they inspired me to try again. I’m glad I listened to them because I absolutely love writing and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

T.J.:  If you could meet any person dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Georgina: My uncle Joe. He passed away nearly 19 years ago, but I still miss him more than words can say.

T.J: Now, is my favorite part of the interview, hearing all about your work. Can you tell readers about the Infernal Hearts series?

Georgina: Infernal Hearts is a post-apocalypse paranormal romance series. Instead of zombies, in this post-apocalypse, the world has been overrun with all things paranormal. Humans are on the run and in hiding, while groups of paranormal creatures hunt them down and kill them. I’ve loved writing about the different couples in each book. I’m currently working on the third and final book in the series, which will be out in June 2022.

TJ: Looking forward to reading them! Thank you for visiting my blog. Hope to have you back again!

Thank you for having me. I’m always happy to talk about the books and genres I love.
