TJ: Hello! Welcome to Author Spotlight where both new and veteran authors share a little about themselves and their work. Today we have M. York. Let’s get into it. Care to tell readers us about yourself?
M. York: Hey! I’m M. York. I was born in Tyler, Texas and I now live, with my wonderful husband, in the Great Frozen North of Northern Alberta. We have no pets yet, but I do intend to add a couple once we move later this year.
When I first heard of author branding, I rolled my eyes. I was at a three-day writers’ workshop, learning about the essentials of story craft through panels, participating in critique groups, and attending panels about different aspects of the business of publishing. Vow Unbroken releases May 28th! To celebrate, I’ve put the e-book version of all three novellas in the Faerie Tales series on sale for .99c each for the month of May (Free on Kindle Unlimited). Three books for three bucks! I also wanted to share an excerpt from this tantalizing tale, filled with intrigue, action, and a little steam.

They often use their fortune telling or basic empathy skills to get to the bottom of what their love interest or the antagonist wants. It’s also a play on the fact that the meet-cute is the first meeting, but the second time they see each other is really the one where they start to fall for each other or the stories get interesting. It’s like love at second sight.
