TJ: Hello! Welcome to Author Spotlight where both new and veteran authors share a little about themselves and their work. Today we have author Sheri L. Williams. Let’s get into it. Care to tell readers about yourself?
SW: Hi. Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity today. So, hi, I’m Sheri. I write like I read, across many genres. I like to say I was a reader first and will be a reader always. I’m a wife, a mom, a nerd and well… that’s me in a nutshell.
TJ: What inspired you to become a writer?
SW: Oh, I tell this story so much and I love it. I’m a petty writer. A long time ago (like 10 years) I was reading a story on Smashwords that was a Mad Hatter retelling and he is my favorite literary character and I didn’t like the way the writer wrote him, so it thought “I can do better.” I had never written before.
T.J.: If you could meet any person dead or alive, who would it be and why?
SW: Oh man, can I cheat and say my Pepe? I miss him something fierce. Otherwise, probably Marcus Aurelius. His writings fascinate me.
T.J: Now, is my favorite part of the interview, hearing all about your work. Can you tell readers about your book?
SW: Oh man, well the book I just released is called Three Souls, One Love and it’s a cozy fantasy set in the early 1900’s near Vienna. It’s a polyam story about a witch, a werewolf and a vampire and I just adore them all. It doesn’t have no stakes, but very low stakes and it’s pretty much like… hanging in the Shire. There’s a lot of tea and hanging out in the woods.
